Ok so I recently got the vision spinner 2 and aspire nautilus, although I have no idea about maintence on these things, in particular I dont know what to get wet with water to change liquids etc. The nautilus has a air resistence changer and what not and I am afraid to know if its ok I put water in it and everything in the whole nautilus just to get rid of the flavor of the last juice I last had in the tank, I also bought 5 extra coils just in case. Can someone tell me about maintaining this thing and cleaning it and what not

If you're changing to something similar, like one fruit to another, you can just fill it with the new stuff and carry on. If it's a drastic change, you can rinse the tank after removing the coil head. You may (or may not) want dedicated coil heads for each family of flavors, that is entirely up to you. I only use the nautilus for things I know I want to vape long term, I have a few EVOD tanks I use for experimenting if I don't feel like dripping.

You can rinse out the tank, but just dry it as much as you can before putting in the new liquid, and make sure to wipe dry the 510 connector before putting it back on your battery

Ty for the info, just making sure but I can get everyone thing wet on it right? Like what would happen if water got in the air resistence holes

You will get some water in your mouth if you don't let it dry. No chance of electrocution or anything, just make sure it's as dry as possible.

Once your tank is empty, and you want to refill it with the same juice, there's no need to wash the tank. When changing juices, wash everything out, using hot water and dish soap. Take your time in rinsing everything well, including the air flow holes, by rotating the ring from one hole to the next. Shake all the water out, and let everything dry out, overnight. Be careful not to drop any part when shaking it! The silicone might retain a scent of the previous juice. I've tried soaking it in pure grain alcohol after washing it, yet the smell was still there. I also install a new atomizer whenever changing juices. If you're not able to do that, you can rinse the atomizer, and let it dry out before reinstalling it.

I think they were saying is having one for tobacco one for all your fruits and maybe one for like menthol or cinnamon. Strong flavors that are hard to get out of a coil.
I have cinnamon roll flavor, carmel apple flavor, apple rings flavor, and root beer flavor all from mt baker vapor. Do you think I should share these all with the same atomizer and just clean it out between switching flavors. Because including the nautilus tank that gives me 6 of the 1.8 ohms coils and 1 of the 1.6 ohm coil

ok...on a whole...how quickly should ones coils burn out???? Should it be a day , a week, a month??? Should you just periodically just change it , say like once a week especially if on a tank you use a lot???

There are many factors that affect the life of the coil, it's based on how much juice you use rather than a time period. Different juices affect it differently as well. You'll know when it's gone though, it's a pretty gross taste ;)

I have the Nautilus Mini with BVC. Every couple of fills, I clean and rinse all of the metal parts (including the atty/coil) in boiling hot water. I will then typically let it try overnight or will dry with a blowdryer. With this method, I tend to avoid nasty flavors from the atty, the vape just weakens until it's time to replace. Love how nice those BVC coils are, and also how cheap they are for their quality!

But I mean what is the point to having different atomizers dedicated to 1 flavor each?

There are two reasons to replace the atomizer.
  1. Performance
  2. Maintaining uniform flavor

The atomizer has a wick wrapped in wire, which is contained within a metal cartridge. Every time you fire up your mod, the wire heats the wick, causing the eliquid carried by the wick to vaporize. The cartridge is called an atomizer because the process of converting eliquid into vapor can be referrred to as atomization.

Each time the wires heat up, a small amount of residue from the eliquid stays behind on the wires. This residue accumulates on the wires over time, gunking them up. The rate of accumulation depends largely upon the eliquid, and to some degree, the power used. Generally, darker colored eliquids and higher power cause this to occur faster. When the wires (also referred to as a coil) gunk up, their performance decreases, causing less vapor production. Gunked up wires cause a bad taste. The wick can also contribute to bad flavor, from burning slightly. When looking at a used wick, you'll notice dark sections on it, which are the areas that come into direct contact with the coil. So, this is the main reason you should replace the atomizer. When using a Nautilus, I prefered changing the atomizer after vaping anywhere from 5 to 10 ml (1 to 2 tankfuls). I didn't want the flavor to be compromised.

Another reason the atomizer needs to be changed is to prevent flavor ghosts (carry-over) when switching to a new flavor. Using the same atomizer used with the previous flavor will cause the previous flavor to carry over to the new eliquid. If you feel that the atomizer used with the previous flavor is still good, you can hold onto it, for the next time you decide to use that flavor. When saving used atomizers, its a good idea to dedicate them to a specific eliquid.

There are steps you can take to make your atomizers last longer. A simple way is to thoroughly rinse them in hot water, and allow them to dry. This will extend their life a little longer. Unfortunately, the water doesn't really remove the gunk from the coil. To get better results, you can dry burn the coil, maybe even try rebuilding.

The Nautilus is a pretty decent clearomizer. I like the glass tank and airflow control options. I owned five of them, and recently gave a new vaper three to get him started. I also think the iClear 30s is a good clearomizer. However, my advice would be to seriously consider getting a Kayfun Lite Plus version 2 from Ehpro. Its really not hard to build, and the vape is SO much better! Once I tried it, I never looked back.

I usually take it apart let all the parts except the coil rest in alcohol for few hours, then rinse with water, then let rest all parts including coil in boiled water for a few hours, rinse repeat then dry with a napkin or some cloth n let it dry for 30 min or so. After that I'm good to go. I have 2 nautilus at the moment so I rotate when I switch flavors.
