Hello I would like to gut my ego-t atty so that i have just the bare cone. Is there already a thread made on this that someone can send me a link to or tell me how. Thanks i'm tempted to just try smashing it out with a screwdriver since the atty is bad anyways lol.

Do you want to use the cone for the traditional purpose? or is there something else you have in mind?
I meant to screw on to your batt To cover the threads. The tank atty doesn't have the threads at the base of the cone so even if you were to gut it you wouldn't be able to screw it onto the battery. You can buy a replacement cone from most of the suppliers and they should fit over your cartos. You may have to remove the sticker on the cartos though.
ego's traditionally had a cone designed to fit over atty's and cartos just like you want. the ego-t atty tank system was designed more recently. You can find replacement cones that do exactly what you want at most suppliers of egos. Here is one for $4 Black Ego Cone with Silver Trim
huh i never noticed thanks. I assumed the threads on the battery were for the tank atty cone.
No prob I actually inspected my tank atty for about 10 min before coming to the realization myself and i've had it for like 4 months now lol
