Yesterday, I was in a situation where I could not leave - for over 10 hours! Not once did I think about smoking or vaping. I even hung around afterwards to shoot the breeze with some folks. Normally, I'd be at least thinking about having a smoke, grumpy because I couldn't have a smoke, and running straight to my car afterwards to get a smoke. Am I ready to give up vaping just yet? Naw. But it's nice to know I can when I am ready.

Thanks, Robert, for the Reos which has made the journey to quit smoking a lot easier!

Nice to hear that!

I know that when I quit smoking real cigarettes I went through a chemical withdrawl - but no nicotine withdrawl with the eGo I was using at the time. Now that I've cleaned out my system of the horrible crap they put in tobacco cig's I've noticed it too. Going for periods without vaping seems much, much easier than times when I went without regular smokes.

You are so right Vikki. I used to constantly think about when I could smoke my next cancer stick anytime I was somewhere it wasn't allowed. Since January 1st, I haven't even thought about..."Gee when am I gonna get to vape!" :2cool: I sure as hell can go all day long w/out vaping. (I could NOT when smoking, even when it was a matter of life and death if the enemy saw the smoke or glow of the cherry.)

I still smoke a few cigs a day ... with coffee and after a meal. After vaping for a year and a half, I've noticed that I don't crave a cigarette and don't have to vape if I'm somewhere I can't. It is a good feeling. If it weren't for cigs being around the house (my wife smokes) I would be cig-free now. Yeah, I know it's a matter of will power, but I look at it as being much better than the 40 or 50 I used to think I had to have.

Thanks to the help of the Vaping community, after smoking for 35yrs, I was able to quit without chewing the furniture.
I had tried everything to quit, and I do mean everything. Heck I was even smoking while running PT. I still don't know if that was the addiction or just messing with the youngsters.
