I used to be able to hear the sizzle when I took a drag. I usually take long light drags.

Now I have to suck HARD to hear that same sizzle? When I drag slow I still get vapor, but no more throat hit. I have to suck hard to get throat hit??

I just started using this atomizer last Monday. Toast already?

Jim, I see from your # of posts, that you are not new here. I suppose you have already
tried to clean it by blowing through the atty at the cart end to remove built up sludge.
I have thought mine had died and managed to blow out and clean by putting it in boiling water with a little soda and vinegar, blow out again and dry with hair dryer. I usually set mine on a paper towel and leave for a day.

You likely have read in the threads by now about how to resurrect an atty. This may be old news to you, but you had not mentioned your trying to clean it.

All good advice, how old is your cart?

Thanks for the responses! Im VERY new here :) Ive just been reading A LOT and asking lots of questions. Boiling the atty I thought came up to be a hit or miss sort of thing?

GaryD, did you mean how old is the atty? The cart is only a couple days old. Actually this is day 2 now. The atty is about 8 days old.

Thanks!

Jim

After looking at it, it seems like Volcano produces better vapor....yet BLU and Volcano are the same model. Is it possible to buy some Volcano cartridges and a atty to get the same result? .

I also found a vapor fix video on YouTube for both BLU and Volcano. Is the throat hit on the BLU really that bad? And does the choice in E-liquid make a difference?

Also, do you think I could use the Volcano pass through on the BLU?

I think some folks have given advice that says their Attys slow down after boiling. I warm a small cup of water in the Microware, to boiling temp.
Then I add a slight amount of soda and cidar vinegar to it; then toss in the atomizers. Let set 15 min. Take out rinse under hot water, blow out after they cool some, use hairdryer and
sit cart end up over 24 hours. I know this is somewhat different than
most folks tell you. I don't boil them, just throw into boiling water with
the other things I have mentioned. The acid in the cidar vinegar shines the
metal on it, and the baking soda knocks out any bad taste that might linger. I've not always resurrected the attys, but in many cases have.

Highping has a page of instructions on resurrecting Atomizers, I would also recommend that. I think we have all used our own methods, and as they say "more ways than one to skin a cat."
