Hi, I am new to vaping and have a small pen like e-cig. I was looking into buying a provari mini and I came across this picture from one of your members. I love the look. So my questions are: is this a zen tank and what kind is it and what size fluid does it hold. Also do I need a ring or something, so that it is flush with the
mod. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Firstly welcome to the forum and congratulations on switching to vaping.
The provari is a solid performer, but as with most device combinations the tanks will not always tighten down flush to the battery. There are beauty rings that can be purchased but there are so many tank and battery combinations possible that it might be hard to find a ring size that fits perfectly on any particular set-up.
The Zen tanks are top notch quality but not for beginners, one needs to build their own coils and wicks and are very fiddly. Some are very good at building some are not. I tried many many times and ended up giving up eventually. In the end I just wanted to vape more than play/build.
Both items you've noted are quite expensive, really good, but expensive, you may do better starting your rebuilding journey with something at a lower price point and move up to those if you're really good at rebuilding.
There are quite a few devices out there now, called "hybrids" they all can vary in design but mostly the connection area(battery to tank) is seamless.
Unfortunately they are mechanicals with no battery protections like you'd get in a provari or any other regulated type device. I would not recommend a "mech" to a new vaper unless they were well versed in ohms law and battery safety first.
I'd continue looking at pictures of peoples set-ups, find one you like that suits you aesthetically and is not a rebuildable atty and where the battery tube is regulated.(at least with some built in protection). Cheers.
