Hi, I'm new here. Sorry for bringing up an older thread, but you've all given some great advice here. I was wondering, what about fruit punch? Is there anything that can be mixed with that to make it better? It's actually a good flavor, just not for me. Sort of reminds me of cough syrup. I bought a few great samples, but the fruit punch had such great reviews that I bought a 50ml bottle. I hate it. It's been a couple of weeks since I've tried it, but when I open the bottle, it still smells the same.

I think sweetener will work for you. You can also try mixing with a tobacco flavor. What has worked for me was letting my juice get a little air by leaving the cap off. Are you using a cartomizer, atty or tank?

No matter how "rave" a whole slew of reviews might be I would never buy more than a small sample bottle of juice before I had tried it, and approved its yumminess myself... except maybe as part of a "lot" from the classies... which is where I have been picking up samples on the cheap that others have tried and not liked.
Even seriously RAVED about juices like Bobas Bounty and Gorilla Juice from AVE end up there... Taste is completely subjective. ;-)

And on that note... anyone who has a collection of juices they don't like should really consider passing them along in the classies too.:vapor:

I had the same problem, got a bottle of tutti fruity that tasted like the flavoring used in cough syrup. It had some really good flavor notes but was very medicinal tasting. Mixed this with a banana creme juice and the combination was heavenly. Liked the banana by itself but with the addition of the tutti fruity it is transcendent.

Thanks so much for the responses! I've been vaping with a Joye 510 for the past seven months. I'm probably due for an upgrade, but I suppose I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. For now I've been satisfied with the 510. I started out with the intention to quit and this looked like an easy way out. But now that I've tried it, I think I want to do it for a while.:)

trinifreak...I don't have tobacco on hand. Never really was into the tobacco flavors. But I have tried mixing with other flavors. None of them seem to work because this one is so overpowering. It's really hard to get the taste out of the atty after using it. I just ordered some new juices. Maybe one of those will work. Or I could just send it off to the classies as suggested.

flwrfrog...Great advice. I actually knew that beforehand, but didn't care because it sounded good. LOL. I won't be doing that again.

I'll try leaving the cap off for a while and give it one more try. If not, then hopefully someone will want it.

Bad juice is just bad juice. Sometimes it's just hopeless. I listened to all of the reviews too, and have a table full of juice sitting here. Now I just crack up when I see some juices that people rave about. Tastes definitely is a subjective thing because some of the juices that people seem to love I find truly gag-worthy. They probably feel the same way about juice I like.

I'm starting to think this one is definitely hopeless. It didn't work with the banana. Wow, this is so far off from what I'd expect in a fruit punch.

If taste is subjective...which I agree, it is. Does that mean reviews on ejuice really are meaningless?

When I initially wrote this thread I came to the same conclusion. Having a VV device really helped me appreciate juices I thought were not safe for consumption.
