I've been through about 10 carts now and I've noticed that all but one developed a horrible burnt taste before I made it to the end. It seems to happen at different rates with each cart/battery/passthru and can't seem to put my finger on the problem. The shortest has been within a few minutes on a fresh cart.

I was wondering if I might beg some tips from the experts as to how I can stop this from happening and if it might be possible to rescue existing carts with the bad flavor.

Thanks!

I've noticed if I have a filled cart and it sits for a week or so it will actually dry out even with the rubbers on. Maybe some you ordered were already drying out. :( Best bet is to add liquid whenever you think about it. I'll use two back and forth so it doesn't get too dried out during the day. I've taken one apart after I noticed the burnt taste and the filling is actually kinda burnt. :( You can rinse them out with water, let them dry and refill but as soon as it starts to dry out that same spot will start to burn again.

ALL of our new cartomizers are filled to the brim with 1ml. I would top off, when you start to taste less flavor, this will insure, you do not over vape.

Hi Steve. Which flavors are in the new cartos? I'm about to place an order for a VK and might try some different flavors if they are the 1ml cartos.

Thanks...

When I don't have time to pop the top and do a "real" refill, I refill from the battery end (thanks to Ghetto Cowgirl for this tip). I just add a few drops to get me through until I can get somewhere to fill it all the way up.

Don't do this with auto batteries, because the juice can drip into the battery and ruin it from what I understand (?) , but it works great for the manuals. It's a real quick top off and not messy at all if refilling from the small nobacco juice bottles.

Honestly there are so many variables.

In some cart the fill is only half way, some are 3/4 up to the top.
Less fill holds less liquid, result: less puffs.

Some are filled with more liquid than others.
The weight really is not accurate, because of the above reasons.

It also depends what battery you are using, a fresh one burns the liquid much faster than an almost empty one.

The passthrough really burns through the liquid very very fast.

It's all about learning, there's not one simple answer to this question.
