How do I run my SubTank Plus dry?

Do I need to keep the juice level above the little cotton-ports? Will it still wick when the juice level drops below those little holes? Can I vape it 'till it's bone dry, or should I always keep the tank above that level?

Any tips on changing flavors? My first though was to run the tank dry, then fill it with a different flavor, but I wanted to ask you pros, just in case I'd be damaging something. I know to not push the button when the cotton is completely dry, as it'll end up burning, but I meant the tank dry, using it 'till the juice goes way past the cotton-ports, all the way to the bottom (while keeping the tiny bit left on the cotton).

And does it need to be carried upright? One of the pockets I could carry it in, would put it in a horizontal position while sitting down. Would this cause the juice to leak out?

Always keep the fluid level above the little cotton ports.

To change flavors you can remove the coil and soak in vodka, let the coil dry for a day and rinse out the tank. Some flavors will never rinse out of the wick, on reason for rebuild-able coil attomizers/tanks. They can be re-wicked easily.

Keep it above the cotton holes as Robert said. I used the RBA deck, so luckily I can run mine down a little further.
As far as flavors, depending on the flavors they might mix together pretty well

True dat dbrandt. Some juice mixes are good. On the other had some are horrible.
And unless is it very persistent the old flavor will pass within a tank or so.

Changing flavors...

Really fast way: Vape it almost dry then refill with new flavor.
Fast way: Remove coil/RBA, set aside, rinse everything else in hot water, dry, refill, vape.
Pretty fast way, RBA: Disassemble, rinse everything in hot water, dry burn coil, rewick, refill...
