I'm not quite sure what to make of you. Are you prescribing YOURSELF prescription drugs?

Ah, I didn't notice that you were in the Phillipines. Here in the US if you're a doctor or pharmacist and you start prescribing things to yourself I'm pretty sure you can face some serious fines and jail time.

Either way, I have a better prescription for you in all seriousness:

1) Some of the conditions you are listing are SERIOUS PSYCHOLOGICAL DISORDERS. You need to go be evaluated and properly diagnosed by a licensed Psychiatrist. Not a psychologist. A psychiatrist.

2) If you are self-prescribing these medications...STOP. Unless you're a doctor yourself and not just pulling these words up from links on Web MD. Even if you ARE a doctor, STOP anyway and get a second opinion from an outside licensed psychiatrist. Or three.

3) Many times depression and anxiety disorders (barring the most severe cases) can be very effectively lessened or even negated by lifestyle changes. Some of these changes are simple, such as eating a more balanced diet and getting some light to moderate exercise and increasing your water intake and getting outdoors to be in the sun.
One other extremely effective FREE, HELPFUL and NONPHARMACEUTICAL way that many people have constructively dealt with many types of depression is to get out and help others. Join a volunteer club, or if you like dogs and cats go spend some time helping out at the animal shelter. Animals are much easier to deal with for people who have social anxiety disorders, and knowing that you are helping animals in need boosts your mood significantly. Helps the animal, helps you feel better = win win and no drugs.

4) Join a support group. I'm sure you can easily find one that's near you. You are not the only one who might be struggling with these types of disorders. There is strength in numbers and greater success with a support network. Read this forum, this is a PERFECT example of how positive support is helping people to deal with their struggles regarding addiction to tobacco, as well as addictive personality disorders perhaps.

There is your prescription. And I won't even charge you for it. Go forth and take small steps to take control of your life and your mind. I can't be sure if you are serious in all this or if you are yanking chains. But I'm not willing to take that chance. Follow this advice and I can virtually guarantee you that you will see dramatic improvement in your life.

After that, pick up vaping if you want to.

I appreciate your input but I've been through all of that. exposure therapy, CBT, every single psychiatrist i could get my claws on and even some marked up health shop mood enhancing bullshyt. I've already had plenty of success on nardil and i havent even reached my desired maintenance dose.

My problem is chemical. Therapy, counseling, satirical comments have all had null effects on my handicap. The philippines also has a very small selection of depression and anxiety drugs. My past experience with psychiatrist was spending the first 2 years burning through all the least effective, safest drugs and eventually coming to the disturbing conclusion that I won't even get the opportunity to get prescribed something like a MAOI or stimulant due to their availability or lack there of.

I'm not trying to rack up posts, I might even repost this thread in other parts of the forum.

I'd really appreciate some constructive feedback. Does the nagging want just go away after a while? Do I need to stand infront of a mirror and speak in tongues or perform virgin sacrifice?

It's just a pet peeve but it's a pervasive one that I could do without

I wouldn't advise it.
