Hi, I just got myself a m403 (intellicig) with the auto batteries, I'm mightily impressed both with it and e-cigs as a whole. Can't see myself ever smoking again.

After a bit of advise from those in the know please, how am I supposed to carry it? I just went for a 20 minute walk with it in my pocket and the battery was dead when i got back from activating all the time. Also the filler from the cartridge had stuck to the vapouriser! (i guess from the constant activation with nothing being drawn through it)

So while I find and buy myself a bespoke case that's made for the job I've been turning the house upside down trying to find a ad hock carry case. I tried a small medicine bottle to carry the battery and vap/cartridge separately, but i can see the battery glowing through the bottle when i rattle it gently...

It would seem the slightest air movement or vibration sets these things off, so please if you've got any top tips help!!:D

Thanks:)

That is the curse that comes with auto batteries in general. They are difficult to deal with as the auto sensor is either too sensitive (goes off when you don't want it to) or insensitive (can't get it to work long enough if at all).

Best suggestion, go with manual batteries for times when you are out and about, and leave the auto batteries for more sedentary activities.

If you need something to hold you over until you can get a proper case (which BTW doesn't guarantee that it won't misfire in the case) you can use some cut pieces of foam in a container to keep it from shifting in whatever you put it in. You should disconnect your atty and cart from the battery while in transit to keep it from burning up through misfires.

I started with an intellicig too, and it really helped me get past the cigarette stage of my life and onto the vaping. I've since moved on to mods and now use a riva with lr-510 attys, but I won't forget my intellicig and how much it helped me

when I pocketed it I would unscrew it enough to prevent the atty from firing. also getting a pcc case really helped, could keep one batt charging and have backup atty/carts etc. they are about the size of a pack of cigarettes and actually quite resemble them

I think the similarity of it all to analogs, the size and shape of the intellicig and a m40x pcc, plus I was using a strong tobacco flavor really worked at tricking my mind into making the evolution to vaping seamless
