Go to walmart and look in the manicure aisle, there is a little zippered vinyl kit that I think would be perfect. They're around 5 bucks or so. Those 650 batts are around 3.75 aren't they? That would be a perfect fit. There are some elastic restrainers that might work for your doodads, and if not, the included cuticle trimmer is the perfect tool for picking the stitches out.
Why not just use an empty flip-top pack of cigarettes? Two tanks, and two 650 batteries should fit in there....

Yes, I stumbled across this. They also have some floating around that look like they are made from anodized aluminum!
I wonder if you could buy 2 cigars that come in aluminum tubes (preferably shorter ones) and use those? For the 78MM, I used the case that $10 reading glasses come in, they would hold 2 with cartos & drip tips. I'm using a utensil holster on my belt (from REI) for my eGo Twist + ViVi Nova.
