Clean cartomizers before putting a new juice in? It seems like the flavor of one might taint another. Is cleaning them first even something that is done?

Currently, i'm labeling my cartos with white nail polish. makes it easy to find the one I want that way, plus it looks kinda cute.but some of my flavors I don.t want to revisit for a while, and id like to know if I have to clean them in some fashion or just usedthem up.

You can clean them by boiling in water but this degrades the filler and you have to wait a couple of days before it's dry. You could also use the Taryn Spin- found on YouTube. You could also put a stronger more overpowering juice in the carto. An atomizer is great for testing new juices as it's easy to clean.

when i used cartomizers, i used this Plunger Fitting (Patent Pending) - MyFreedomSmokes.com works great! then did a taryan spin and let sit overnight to finish drying, filled up the next morning

You can boil them a few times and it will get most of the flavor out. With some flavors it is best to have a dedicated carto if you dont want a mix.

you can try soaking it in vodka for about 30 minutes ...

I have had the best luck with the vodka cleaning method,,,,,,I let them sit for about 20 minutes,,,,,,then I use an oral syrynge to plunge the alcohol through the filter,,,,,,,,then use it to dry out (as much as possible) the extra alcohol.

the alcohol seems to dry out faster than when I did the same with water,,,,,,,and gets most of the flavor out.

In regards to a plunger type cleaner go to Walmart and for $2 buy an Oral Med Dispenser- fits perfectly over the carto- flush hot water thru it 25 times When done flush air thru carto with it 40 times to dry. Carto can used immediately. Can also be used to DIY juice.

Thanks for the tip! I let my cartos air dry for 24 hrs. Haven't thought of flushing air through it.

I got a plunger type oral syrynge at WM,,,,,,,,the water still doesn't dry out in 24 hours,,,,,I have to wait 2-3 days,,,,,and yes, I plunge air through it until my arm is hurting LOL. Alcohol works the best for ME, but YMMV.

I had the first liquid I couldn't get out that way last night,,,,,,,a disgusting perfume flavored juice (it wasn't really perfume flavored, but it TASTED LIKE IT),,,,,,,,,,tossed it,,,,,,,,,,couldn't get that flavor out to save my life.
