Huh, ya' never know what you don't know until you ask.

A thread is what you started inside the New Members Forum thread. It's a topic, and or sub-topic, that is responded to so it is like a thread of conversation.

Until you have 15 posts, you'll have to ask your questions here.

Basic rules are found here. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/announcements-rules/51178-forum-rules.html

Overview of electronic cigarettes, at least the best one of I know if is, http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ecf-library/36180-wonderful-world-vaping-illustrated-guide-e-cigs-part-1-6-a.html I highly recommend reading all 6 parts at least once.

After this reading, you'll have an understanding of the basics and have more specific questions that folks can help with.

Hiya Mamma.

A "Thread" is the topic you created by typing your message here. What I'm typing now is a "post" or "reply" to your thread.

Threads are just all the different topics you see listed on the forums.

This would be the best place to ask questions until a more experienced member than myself, can answer them for you.

At the top of the forum index should be "Announcements and Rules" click on that and you can read the "do's and don't's" of the forums plus guides and answers to most common questions about the forums.

Also at the top of this area, "The New Members Forum" are some more topics that can help answer questions you might have.

Usually, when there is an important topic, like rules or guides, you will see them at the very top with the word "Sticky" next to them.

That means they are important and to keep them at the top of the forum so no one misses them, they got glued up there.

Hope that helps a little.

See the word tag in blue at the bottom left of the page just above the reply window? One can click that word and insert words that would help in a search for the topic (thread--the one you started).

I never use em. You probably won't either.

This forum has a good search tool to begin with.
