How do you avoid ever being with no charged battery?

Between my fiance and I, we have 4 Riva batts, 2 900mah eGo batts and 4 quick chargers. There are always at least 4 fully charged batts at any given time. When I go to work, I always have one eGo, one Riva and one charger with me. I also usually have at least one spare Mega atty, three cartos, a couple of filled carts and one or two bottles of juice, too. Sometimes, I still feel under-prepared.

Yeah you are all making me want more batteries haha.

Yesterday's no-charged-battery disaster was averted by my V4L arriving charged (whew) so I just vaped that while the other's batteries charged. Last night I didn't have enough chargers to charge the V4L too (and I am wary of charging off my laptop's USB after hearing some people have blown PC and even car USBs with PV chargers and PTs).

Tonight - same problem - I get home from work and the battery I'm using gets drained, my other battery is not charged yet, and this time the V4L drained too (right after dinner!) and I had to have an analog.

This has to be doable the way I vape. An M402 battery lasts me up to 4 hours at work, occasionally 5 hours. And they charge in much less time than that - when everything goes smoothly which it did for 2 weeks. Now something is just not right.

When I was primarily rocking the 510, I kept about a half dozen batteries in the 10-port multi-charger along with an always-always charging battery in the car (using the standard 510 wall charger hooked to the 12V USB via a mini-plug-to-lighter socket cord), and worked a three-battery rotation throughout the workday. I've never had a PCC--afraid I'd get lazy about keeping it charged.

Since I've mostly moved on to eGo, I'm the owner of just three eGo batteries. (The old 510s are my backup.) One used only during my long early a.m. vape, then back in the multi-charger w/ 510 adapter all day. That's a slow-ish charge for eGo batteries, but not too bad. Of the other two, one's a PT I mainly use when driving, plugged in or not. I also keep an eGo USB charger for the lighter USB socket and try to remember always to have it charging the non-PT battery while I'm driving and vaping the PT battery. So far, so good.

First kit- E9 with 2 batts. Ordered another pair the first night.
After a week I knew that device was not enough and ordered a DSE801 and 3 batteries.
Another week and I gave up on THAT too.

Battery life was an issue, but with enough batteries I could have gotten by- maybe 12 E9 or 4 or 5 801 batts would have done.
Since the vapor quality and flavor were also issues I wnet Big Time and got a GGTS and AVS with 2 3 volt batteries (one set.)
3 hours after I started using it I bought another charger and 3 more sets of the cr123a batteries.

4 sets of batteries that last at least 3 or 4 hours of HEAVY vaping and no matter what.... well, I did get an 18650 3.7 volt in case I needed some extra life.

With a full complement of charged batteries I can now go a minimum of 24 hours, no matter what.
And that is my theory: batteries to last 24 hours without being able to charge, no matter what.

Sounds like you have it solved with the pass-thrus. The batteries are only good for so many charge cycles. Over time they will last incrementally less time. Heavy vaping, my eGo 650mAh batteries lasted all day when new. Now they're good for around 4-5 hours. I now have 2 510 pass-thrus (1 is a spare), a 650mAh eGo pass-thru (will be buying more of these), 3 650mAh (came with my starter kit) and 2 1,000mAh.

I keep the charged ones in the coffee cup of vaping gear and rotate them randomly. The 510 pass-thru stays at my desk with a drip tip on it. Depending on how long I'll be away from home, I'll pack enough stuff to get by. Most times the eGo pass-thru is good for long car trips and the 1000mAh batteries when not in the car full time.

How do you avoid the dreaded no charged battery?
That's my solution so far - what's yours?

At the present time my primary device is a Black Silver Bullet.

I have 4 sets of 750mah Tenergy 3.0v CR123 lifepo4 rechargeable lithium batteries for 6 volt turbo vaping:headbang:

When using the same device for 3.7v with low resistance attys I have two 3000 mah 18650's which will last about 3 days each.

Batteries are never a problem just have a few sets to rotate and always have more than what you need and then one more set on top of that.

REMEMBER - always keep your batteries in pairs that are marked. ( sharpie ) Always use the chosen pairs together and never mix them up. If you want longer overall life span in regards to how many times you can recharge, the Tenergy Lifepo4 batteries seem to have the longest lifespan over other batteries.

If 6" of duct tape will hold it then 1/2 the damned roll should work just fine.

No battery panic since getting 2 eGo USB passthroughs. Use one, have other as spare. Can vape and charge at same time. Have one cord running off a wall plug by my home PC. Have the other running off my monitor at work. Connector plugs into the non-atty end of the batt and is same as my office wireless headset uses. Just snap in when close to either computer. Pop it off when mobile. Don't have to remove atty or cartomizer to charge like a standard eGo (which I also have.) Much less stress in my world now that I don't have to constantly worry whether I have enough batteries while away. No more constantly screwing something into something else. I was carrying three or four batteries everywhere, constantly dealing with cords. Manual buttons would get mashed, battery discharged lighting up the LED, I'd go to use one - it would be dead! Panic! Much happier now.
