So ive been reading and watching tons of videos but still gets confused
some say you cant "dry fire" even in low temps to make a contact coil
some say you can

i am sure i am not the only newbie who is confused,

but how do you safely build a proper contact coil?
sorry i am not really that great on spaced coils.
alwasy have had hotlegs or hotspots on those

so how do you build ti coils

and am i really just limited to a single coil?since someone mentioned that
imaking dual coils will give me a headache since they wont fheat up at the same time?

I've been doing dual spaced coils on my DNA200 and having no headaches, just amazing warm vapor. I have done contact coils and I always pulsed them at around 5 watts and just made sure they only turned blue. But now I just feel safer with the spaced coils and they seem to work just as well with minimal gunking. I've put about 70mls through them and there is like no build up. Everything still seems up in the air on what coil material is safest I've just moved away from ni200 because I feel that could have the most risk imo.

i am happy for you,
but not everyone can make spaced coils hotspot free,
ive already wasted like 2 meters just for trying.. :(

A trick I have used to make good spaced coils is get a Kuro Coiler, wrap a micro coil and then space it out a bit with a tweezer

Or use something like this https://www.fasttech.com/products/2049902
Dont know if a link like this is allowed but basically a winding rod with different diameters

I found this guide very useful for building contact Ti coils. You can for sure dryburn them when fiddling with them to get them tweaked, BUT and this is very important, you can NOT glow them above ~1200F. If it starts creating the white/grey powdery stuff you have gone too far and you should make a new coil. What I do is glow the coil very very gently at 6W. I do this in a dark room so I can easily see when it starts to glow. I glow/pulse until I see a very faint orange glow in the center, then tweak and repeat until satisfied. And afterwards make 100% sure there is no grey residue formed on the coil.
