Hey All,

I'm using my first tanks and went through a bottle of ry4. Now i want to use a new flavor. I soaked the tank caps in water but i can still smell the ry4 on the o rings and when i put a carto in it comes out with a little ry4 juice still on the side.

So how are you cleaning your tanks, specificly the end caps, to get the previous juice out?

Cheers!

I just rinse mine under the faucet really good in water that is as hot as I can stand..you can however remove the o-rings from the tanks to wash them with a thin wire or very small screwdriver being careful not to tear them. Also MadVapes sells replacement o-rings for 30 cents each for the SmokTech tanks but I'm sure most hardware stores sell them too if you happen to tear one. I have no need to change flavors in my Smok tanks though as I have 10 of them..I bought 8 of them at MyVaporStore where they sell just the tanks themselves for $4.65 for plastic ended ones and $8.55 for the chrome colored ones.

thanks guys, ill try a longer soak in really hot water and see if that gets it. I was thinking of getting the o-rings out but would rather avoid that if i dont have to just so i dont knick/tear them.
I'll eventually have enough tanks but im fairly new to vaping and only have 2 right now.

I haven't had o-ring issues yet but I picked up a couple inner ones from MadVapes last order in case as I figure those are the most likely to fail from putting in/removing cartomizers. If I ever need other o-rings I figure I'll just get them at the hardware store when I go past it. I think just rinsing the caps under some good pressure under a hot faucet would probably remove just about any left over juice..but I don't know how good your water pressure is where I live it's very good..almost too high...
