I have read many threads on cleaning your 510 atomizer, and still have not come to a conclusion on the best method. People say everything from doing nothing at all, to "just buy a new one," or to put it in the dishwasher! There are also those that say soaking it in chemicals, or even water, may damage the atomizer. The only method I have tried, is rinsing it under hot tap water for 10 minutes, then letting it air dry overnight. It worked great for me. What methods have you guys tried, and what should I do, or not do? Any help is greatly appreciated!

PGA in the form of 151 vodka or everclear is for human consumption, dries quickly and wouldn't be 'foreign' to the atomizer (like coke and pepsi because of the sugar) because it's used in many ejuices for diluting and blending. Soak for a 1/2 hour tops - blow it out some, drop a few drops on the bridge and vape.

Mainly do nothing But if there's a significant loss of performance and it isn't just the atomizer flooding, try the above.

I just run mine under hot water and blow the water through, then let it dry for a few hours. They really are so cheap that doing much more than that seems like overkill to me.
The only time I really soak an atty is if I have used a particularly strong flavor in it, like Tasty Vapor's Kretek or Atomic Cinnacide...those flavors are really tough to remove so a good soaking in alcohol then water tones the atty down enough to vape something else with it.
I've been vaping for 2+ months on the same two attys I got in my starter kit, no problems at all.
