I have the Chi You and Poldiac that needs its contacts to be cleaned. How does everyone clean the contacts in their mods? Would using rubbing alcohol work?

Before I put them away at night (or when I change the battery), I have a cloth (made specifically for silver plated metals) and just rub the contacts a bit. Takes but a minute, and keeps them clean. For the poldiac, it has a generous 15 μm coating so it's pretty protected in case one uses cloths not made for silver plated metals but it's always better not to so it won't take off the silver plating on the contacts. I try to give all my mods an ultrasonic bath once a month but sometimes I don't get around to it. ^^
I use isopropyl alcohol from the pharmacie, with a toothbrush. I started this on provari, as the manufacturer said and I now do it for everything. Once per month or more, I do them a full bath too.
I use a rag, wash cloth, paper towel, napkin, Q-Tip, or more commonly, a dirty sock and some rubbing alcohol to wipe out the connections. Works just fine.
Takes probably two seconds of contact at the lowest speed on the dremel. No buffing compound or anything on the buffing point and the brass gets a mirror shine. I don't do it often enough so there's generally oxidation there, but it comes off immediately.
