i find it's easier to just record a video rather than sit here and type everything i am thinking. Basically i want to figure out the different exhaling techniques used here on the forum and how they effect our perception of the amount of vapor we are getting from these devices

i'm not quite sure how to post a poll , as i have never done one before... a little help?

::EDIT:: Nevermind ... got the poll up

Dailymotion - How Do You Exhale, a video from GM1977. e-cig, vapor

I voted 'other,' simply because there is no 'both'.

It really depends on the moment... but it did with analogs, as well. If I'm occupied, I just exhale. Quick and dirty. If I'm relaxing, I let it linger a bit more.

Usually quick and dirty like the walrus... Unless I'm relaxing (which is like never LOL), then slow.

All three - I guess it's a mood thing. Plus exhaling via the nose, when in dragon mode. I had a pipe long ago - long black stem, white porcelain bowl with red roses on, very Gallic. So I know how to do the meditative puff while reading or writing or sitting in the sun. Perhaps that's my favourite, with e-cig clamped between teeth. However, I love my home made lanyard, which also lets me drop the penstyle from my mouth whenever I want. And unlike the pipe, it doesn't need emptying or relighting all the time. Nor will it set your pocket on fire, even in the financial sense.

As with the whole function of nicotine in general... if the blood nicotine level is low, it acts like a stimulant... if the blood concentration is high, it acts as a depressant, and a pain killer. Therefore, as with also smoking traditional cigarettes, it depends on the mood of the smoker or vaper. Letting the smoke or vapor out quickly does not allow as much nicotine to be absorbed into the blood stream as inhaling deeper and exhaling slower. So... I do both, it just depends on the mood. If that's not the fact with e-smoking (where I have read with e-smoking your body extracts all the nicotine instantly from the vapor compared to slower with smoke). Then it just has to be a psychological thing carried on from being an ex-smoker.

Try letting the auto switch cool off for one sec and take another drag, so like 2 small inhales instead of 1 longer one. It may heat up the atomizer two times in a row, get a nice good burn.

This is why people use manual switch to get a nice burn and solid smoke.

Auto switches have a cut off and you cant control when they power on as well as a manual.

I'll give this a try, thanks for the advice!
