I am trying to figure out how to get a bakery cinnamon taste instead of the redhot cinnamon taste. Can someone clue me in? I have tried several times with the cinnamon flavoring and it always tastes like redhots! Help!!
I’d like to find the most potent baker’s cinnamon flavoring. Right now I use McCormick’s cinnamon extract (instead of distilled water or vodka) and then add drops of Capellas or Loranns and it’s livable.
FlavourArt's Cinnamon Ceylon seems like it would be a natural cinnamon flavor. I have some but haven't tried it yet. Perfumer's Apprentice has both Cinnamon RedHots and regular Cinnamon, have you tried both or just the RedHots?
Well, don't I feel stupid! My sister gave me some flavorings she had and the "red hot" part of the label is missing! No wonder I couldn't get a cinnamony taste no matter what I did. Thank you PureVapor for asking. I didn't know there were 2 different flavors of cinnamon. Can you tell I am new at this and don't cook very much on top of it?
