How do you get rid of the previous flavor's smell and taste from your tanks? In my example, I have an Aspire Nautilus Mini and used MEL's "Blue Voodoo" e-liquid (blueberry fruit) in it. I then took it apart, rinse and soaked it in hot water for about half an hour. I even REPLACED the glass portion of it with a brand new "glass with T armor" and replaced the coil with a brand new BVC coil. Then I put in MEL's HFC e-liquid (tobacco flavor) in it. Whenever I vape I can still taste/smell the Blue Voodoo in it.

I take my tank apart and rinse everything but the coil in hot water. The reason i don't do it with my coil is the first time I tried cleaning it I dry burned it and rinsed it with water and then dry burned it again. The next day it burnt out on me. Only coil of mine I have had do that to me. Now I wrap it in paper towl or toilet paper. I let it sit. Since it is a kanger duel coil taking it apart isn't much of an option. This is also why it is harder to clean. So I roll up the edge of a piece of paper towl or toilet paper . Just a small enough long part that can fit in there. I let it sit in there for a few mins then do that again with another part to get it to absorb the juice some. It isn't perfect. i still get a bit of flavor from the previous juice for a little while. But that eventually just burns out of there and the new juice takes over. If you find juices that go decent with one another you can actually plan around making a switch over between them so that the in between part when it is transitioning doesn't taste bad. Sometimes it can actually be quite good.

When I used tanks, rinsing the coil in hot water, then soaking in grain alcohol overnight seemed to do the trick most of the time. Personally, I took everything apart and soaked the coil and all the parts overnight, but that is probably overkill. Now I use Kayfun's and build my own coils, there is no way I could go back to the hassle (and unreliability) of pre-built coils.

on the new kanger coils I don't take them apart. I rinse, dry burn, rinse and pulse a bit to get rid of most of the excess water and then vape away. I can usually can do that four or five times. I also use an aero base and lightly blow while doing this.

I screwed up a coil doing this though. When I don't do that my coils tend to last me about a month or so.
