I'm lazy. In a tank like a kayfun or an aqua, I run it dry and insert new juice. RDA? Psh... Drip new flavor on demand. I replace my wick probably once or twice a week and when I replace the wick I wash the whole tank / atty out and dry fire the coils to burn off the gunk. I don't mind a few hits of 'frankenstein' flavor in between. I don't wreck my wicks either. I just rewicked this RM2 you see here today. That's 5 days of use on this wick and it's seen 4 different flavors:

I take it apart. Rinse with hot water. Dry with paper towel. Re wick. Add some juice to wick. Put it back together. Fill it up with ejuice.
Similar to previous comment above. Also, with light juices I won't bother. If I vape something strong flavored like grants vanilla custard, key lime pie, kona velvet milkshake, etc. Then, I will clean and re wick.

That is pretty much what I do too. Sometimes if the flavor is strong I won't even wash it (meaning the new flavor). Just put in a new wick and use paper towels for a quick clean. I'll do this every second tank if using the same juice. Cotton wicks are so cheap and easy but don't last quite as long as silica between cleanings.

Only thing I don't like about the kayfun is having to drain juice to get to the wick and coil... Might grab a Taifun GT soon because of that.

Thanks so much everyone.. seems pretty quick and easy.
Yep, if I was vaping fruity flavors or vanilla or something I'd probably just refill, of course I chose to use a really potent cinnamon for my first fill.. which I don't think it going to mix too well with anything else I have on hand.

You all have been so helpful.

I am LOVING this RBA business.

I only change cotton when needed. I just run the other flavor almost dry then add the new flavor. I run several tanks at once on different setups. I keep stronger flavors in one, like cinnamon red hots or menthol. I run vanilla flavors in another, RY4 in another, strawberry mixed with Frenilla in another. If the taste diminishes I change my cotton. When I do change my cotton I will rinse the tank out good and burn my coil off. I usually change cotton every 2 or 3 days.
