How do you make your own RY4?

Possible. I know that Lorann's 'english toffee' is quite strong so I'd build up to it. Also after mentioning 'burnt sugar' I thought creme brulee could also be a player.
For sure. I have 5- 30 ml bottles of Marlboro I wanted to flavor some of it. I'm starting to feel that I should just sell it, and be done.
have you tried any of the lorann flavors?? i've got about 40 different ones and i'm always coming up with new batches of e juices.
Not much luck with DIY. I only like tobacco, nutty, smokey, slightly sweet flavors.
I love coffee, and tried Lorannes. It is sooo dark colored, and burns/leaves residue on the atty coil. tastes like crap! I'll probably end up throwing them all away. What a waste of money.
I got some Capellas flavoring. much better in my opinion. Their flavors are "lightly" colored, and taste great.

The whole thing about finding a good RY4 sub is to be independant from supplier e-liquid if it ever becomes too hard to come by. I don't expect it to taste just like my favorite RY4..just close so I feel more in control.
Right now I can make all my fruit flavors and a passable 555 with Virginia and peanutbutter from Lorann's. I have 36 nic unflavored nic.
I also don't order from China because I would panic about getting it! I also like supporting my U.S. suppliers, resellers, whatever.
Now somebody needs to figure out a mod for my 901 atty! Along with my Nicostick, it would make me China product free.

Honestly... I have tried 555 from probably 7 or 8 suppliers and I can't taste any disernable difference between any of them. However, there is one of them that smells like dirty feet!! 8-o LOL But tastes the same when vaping.
Someone mentioned "cotton candy" and that is odd, because last night I had three of my friends try my mixture of Marlbro, 555, Coconut extract, and LiquidXpress Taboo.... and each said it tasted like "cotton candy." Some thought a faint taste, but non the less... they all said "cotton candy."
I bought some "cotton candy" from somewhere but I have yet to taste it. I have lots of flavors that I have yet to taste. Sort of stuck on my mixture and now the Menthol 555 from Nhaler.
I suppose its really about personal choice, but i like the lorann flavors they're pretty strong. I usually use 50% 36 mg tw juice, 30% pg, and 20% vg. I usually make that in a 5 ml bottle, and once im done mixing that i just drop about 3-4 drops of lorann flavoring in there, usually turns out pretty good. A couple of days a ago i made mixture of i replaced the tw juice with some havana flavor i had lieing around. The end product was a blueberry cigar, and boy was it yummy lol
Wow, all this reading makes me want to try RY4, but I have yet to advance in mixing. Does anyone have any favorite suppliers to suggest so that I may try some?
I could swear I taste a bit of blueberry in there too. At least my batch from eLiquidPlanet did. That one was my personal favorite.
I have always liked the MyVapor Store RY4, I did try Litecig's and that is good too!
Yes, I believe there will be "big money" to whom ever comes out with "true flavorings" from China.
Here's what I did:
First I have this mixture made up ahead of time:
4 parts - 36mg unflavored PG
1 part - 36mg unflavored VG
4 parts - unflavored no nic PG
1 part - unflavored no nic VG
Shake well ;-)
120 drops of the above mixture
40 drops of unflavored no nic PG (wanted to drop the nic a bit)
40 drops of Taboo from liquidxpress
[note: liquidxpress' 'flavoring' is not like Loranns - not as concentrated so you use more but their bottles are bigger as well.]
I vaped at this point. Needed something. From earlier mixes I added:
[the drops from Lorann are made with a syringe 22 size - pretty small drops so if you don't have a syringe do half the amount]
5 drops Lorann Pralines and Cream (from previous mixes, don't overdo this one.)
5 drops Lorann Pecan
Now I cheated. Ruyan #4 from ruyandirect and eastmall tastes more like Janty's RY3 to me. Janty's RY4 has a real smokey, I think pine resin taste to it. Smells like when I run into pine cones that are pollenating on the tree with the tractor. lol. I think there's a touch of that in Ruyan 4 from the China suppliers but not like with Janty. So....
I added 5 drops of Janty's RY4 to the mix.
Shake well!
I'm liking it. Real close, imo, to Ruyan 4 from ruyandir and eastmall....
With using the Janty RY4 which you'd have to have on hand of course, I got a batch that is much less expensive than any of the premade stuff. I'll still vape Janty RY4 too, but I will be making up an even bigger batch with the rest of the Taboo I have.
I know others taste different things in RY4 but if anyone tries this -give feedback and tell what it needs, what it doesn't need, etc.
