How do you pull the axis off a GGTS bottom cap?

Got a steel bottom cap in, but unfortunately COV is sold out of the plastic axis pieces. Trying to figuring out how to remove one from one of my brass bottom caps. It's pretty stubby, so can't really get a decent grip on it. Not sure if you twist or just pull it out, regardless I'm having a hard time getting enough grip to do either. Since it's delrin I didn't want to keep experimenting without trying to get some clarification.

I've searched high and low and can't find any posts regarding it.

Anyone have any experience with trying to remove one?

Small needle nose pliers. Turning anti clock wise.

Use the pliers to hold the plastic piece and turn the cap clockwise.

Just use rubberband and tie all over the axle. After that turn the axle anti-clockwise and ta-da!

If it don't come out with the post you will need needle nose like K3v said, or forceps.

Use non serrated so's you don't chew it up.

Get a decent grip and give it a little shove counter clockwise.

Shouldn't take much.....
