My flavoring collection is getting out of hand! I would love some suggestions on how you are storing yours

Flavoring, on the shelf (cool and dark)
Mixed juice in the fridge (long term storage) except what i am using at the moment
Nic in the freezer

Is that the best? Don't know, just how I do it. :) YMMV

Thanks, obviously I need to brush up on my acronyms![emoji4]

Many folks (like me:)) who used to talk on Usenet groups use shorthand like that. A few more common ones:
IMO = In my opinion...
IMHO = In my humble opinion...
IIRC = If I recall correctly...
FWIW = For what it's worth...
AFAIK = As far as I know...
BTW = By the way....

There are so many of these even I run into one I don't "get" every once in a while. :confused:

...and to actually stay on topic, I'm so disorganized ATM (see what I did there?:)) that my 100 or so little bottles of flavoring are scattered around my mixing room in several plastic trays. I have a few larger bottles that I hope will keep well stored in a box, but I'm planning on putting those in the refrigerator for long term storage.

My plan (as yet unimplemented) is to store them in trays by category. Tobaccos in one tray, fruits & nuts in another, etc. Just haven't gotten motivated to sort them yet.

Excellent idea! Mine would be mostly the custard, vanilla, strawberries and mint categories [emoji4]

I've been grouping mine into profiles in those smaller zip lock bags they arrive in, then toss them into my desk drawer.

I should probably find a better system.

One of us is bound to think of something that's genius!

I use a sewing box that has these plastic drawers. Also some Sterlite Organizers with little drawers. They might still sell these items at walmart in the arts n crafts section/storage section.

Another really cheap option is those little plastic pencil boxes that are only around a dollar.(also at walmart)

Dont have a makeup case but ive heard this is nice for organizing small flavoring bottles.

Ideally I think the best storage would be one of those huge craftsman rolling toolboxes with the drawers. I have a nice big toolbox like this in my garage but I need it obviously for my tools. I know harbor freight tools sells a cheaper toolbox of the same size that might be good for ecig flavoring storage. Where talking at least 200-300 dollars here though for the cheaper brands of these huge toolboxes.

Anyway for my big bottles of pg, vg and nic I use a big plastic paper file box also purchased at wal mart for around 10 bucks :)

Most important thing to remember is to keep the nicotine out of sunlight. Flavorings arent going to be damaged as much by sunlight but you still want to keep them in a cool dark place as well.

I keep all these plastic boxes/containers on a really big bookshelf.

Hope I could be of some help to you. Good luck! It is a satisfying experience when you get organized!

when I first started mixing ... I used ice cube trays, stored on shelves in a cool dark closet :blink:

then I moved onto sorting the bottles in the trays as per recipes ... now they are all purchased in 4oz bottles as I have my ADVs dialed in.

I use a storage organizer case from Tractor Supply, as a "mixing" case that I keep 8mL-15mL working amounts of flavorings in. It's 17 x 13 x 3 3/4 and has movable dividers. I use a paint pen and number the caps of the vials & bottles as I get flavorings. Then I put those numbers and flavoring names on 1/2 size index cards taped to the underside of the case lid. I can see them easily then when making eliquids.

There's room in the case for 80+ vials and bottles, along with a 30mL bottle of nic base, 60mL of PG, and 60mL of VG. A longer section holds a variety of syringes and pipettes, and another one holds some plastic dropper bottles to make my eliquid in. This has worked well so far, but the case is getting alittle heavy. I need to start using a second one for the 40+ more flavorings I've gotten recently. "Flavoritis" has definitely set in for me with DIY. :)

I keep larger bottles of flavorings with numbered caps in a box in a closet, and just refill the smaller vials/bottles in the case as needed. Jugs of VG and PG are there, too. Nic base is kept in the chest freezer.
