I usually have at least 2 kayfuns with me, one on my mod and one in my vape/phone bag. I just wrap the extra kf in a paper towel and drop it in the bag. They normally end up laying on their side and I have not had any significant leaking from doing this.

Edit:
And how could I forget my vapor box. I have a full kayfun clone in my vapor box laying on its side with no leaking issues. All of my kayfuns are are kayfun lite clones and kfl+ clones. I don't know whether or not there would be any difference in the full size 3.1 clones.

I carry mine is a flashlight case upright,no leaks, but will admit it does ''seep'' a wee bit if i carry it in my pocket on its side if i walk with it.I just started filling mine from the bottom as usual but now i cover the air hole after i screw in the screw and then i hold my figer over the air hole ang tilt upright, for some reason it seems to help it it not ''leak.I also cover the channels buy ''stuffing'' the wiks lightly over the channels, this works for me.And i keep the coil above the air hole as high as possible....ima happy camper.5 wraps at 28 gauge gets me 1.3 ohms micro coil. For some strange reason,RY4 tasted muted in the KFL but all other juices are excellent.I use my Kraken,SS cable for RYA....and visa versa.

No tank is ''completly'' leak proof sitting on its side.,goes against the laws of physics,it would have to to air tight and it would not work.Leak resistant is more like it.But one thing is for sure, after playing around with the build on the KF tanks,i have no leaks with it standing up.

One you learn how to fill it correctly, you shouldn't have any leaking problems. Almost every leak I've read about is caused by people not understanding how a vacuum works.

If you use the fill hole, you shouldn't have a problem. If you have a KF 3.1 with the side fill hole, make sure you turn it upside down before filling it.
