How do you tell when your build is shot?

I built my dual macro coil using 24 gauge kenthal wire a little less than a week ago how do I tell when the build has seen it's time?

The above is somewhat true, though it's mainly true of the wick needing replacement, rather than the coil. Usually a coil isn't "shot" until it's giving wacky readings on the ohm reader -- you ARE using an ohm reader, right??? If a coil gives inconsistent readings, or the resistance slowly climbs, despite having dry-burned it, then it probably needs to be replaced.

How many ohms is that thing running?

As for whether or not its past its prime give it a good dry burn and rewick. Should be just fine

Those coils are barely broke in. :D

I bet I can vape 100ml before changing a coil. Wick is another story. Maybe change every 30ml and of course I dry burn the coil real good before re-wicking. I actually don't like new coils. For some reason it take a milliliter or two before the flavor seems to be right. Most likely all in my head though.
