How do you use 510's in the AVS?????????

Hope, one small favor. I want you to explain step by step (1.2.3.4. etc) the exact prossedure for using a 510 atomizer on the AVS so all people can see how they can modify a China adapter and also I will have a guide so I will avoid unessesary experiments.
Stormy, if your 510 atomizer works very good with your modification then please post here.
If someone else knows the way to do it then he can post. But I want everyone that will make a post here to have exellent results with his trick. If his results are not very good then no reason to post them.

I am using the 510 cartos and adapter I got from Rob. I just drilled a 1/32 hole in the adapter. It is working great. Just try to get the hole as close to the middle as you can missing the internal parts. It is easy to do. I did it myself and I am an old lady.
You made one or two holes Stormy? And how far is from the surfase of the adapter?
I made one hole. 1/32 just barely past the middle and just a little bit inside the 510 threads.
Hi sorry to be ignorant but what does 1/32 mean I live in the UK so do we have different sizes? Cheers
Hi dignamz 1/32 of an inch =0.7938mm just under 0.8 of a mm, so it's a pretty small hole. Daz
PS. It's the smallest drill bit in the Dremel 7 piece drill bit set.

Kewl... great info... Anyone wanna share a picture of which end the hole goes the 901 side or the 510 side.. Pictures would be very helpful.
the hole goes on the 510 side, just above where the sperating wall, which holds the "+" connector, is. Essentially you want it to work like a 901 atom, you know the hole is above where the 901 threads end.
Having pretty good success with this mod so far, just got around to trying it with a 510 atom though (was doing 510 cartos before)... The draw seems to be lighter than a 901, about the same amount of Vapour and TH, the taste seems a bit different though...

OK guys, since the Girls already know, hahah (Stormy),, some months back I really wanted to use a 510 Atty in my tank, so I started playing with adapters and connectors. The easy way is the adapter since everyone doesn't have access to a machine shop. Put the 901-510 adapter in a vice and put blocking under it so you can press down hard on it with a drill, unless you have a drill press and can put the adapter in a piece of wood and clamp the wood to hold it in place. Then try to find the smallest drill bit you can and drill a very tiny hole on the 510 side where everyone is saying. then you can use the 510 if you do it right. However the connector will be the best bet and with laser holes in the connector too instead of drilling it out. The whole thing is we have to slow down the liquid because a 510 Atty wants to drink it right up and flood. I'm sure Imeo will be working on getting some connectors made probably some time soon, it's all up to him of course since this is his baby
