In the first few days I decided to just 'enjoy' it, and this meant most of the evening. There is, I think, a problem with that for the new guy, and that is that you may miss the nicotine hit you used to get from that half hour, or full hour, of nicotine deprivation.

I you graze all the time you'll never be able to recapture that 'ahhhhh' moment when the nic' hits. Now that might be a very good thing as time goes on, but for the person who's just ditched the analogues I'd suggest letting those nic' levels reduce a bit so you can enjoy a similar hit as you did with the analogues.

I'm absolutely terrible with mine. Because I know it's just nicotine, I puff on it whenever I can. I sneak into toilets at work (yay! doesn't set off the smoke detector) and if I'm watching a film, well, I just keep going! I'm a little worried about my usage and regard my usage as the same as it would be if someone developed a calorie free cake. Hoping to get bored with is soon! Anyway, what I need to know (as a newbie) is, I'm on GreenSmoke at the highest nicotine level. Does anyone on the same brand have any information on cutting down on nicotine levels (once the novelty wears off)? Many thanks.

At home, wearing lederhosen, laying in a baby pool full of swedish fish while watching reruns of Law and Order : SVU :D That's how I like to vape!

The guy I order from makes Swedish Fish! That's one of his big sellers.

at work I take Vape Breaks, during the day I often come back to my PV and spend a few minutes with it. In the evenings it pretty much doesn't leave my hand

This is me exactly.

I'm retired and my time is my own, which is a great thing after all those years of being on the clock! I vape pretty much all day, but in spurts, depending on what I'm doing. I have several hobbies that require using my hands, so when I get lost in what I'm doing, my ego is sitting there idle. If I'm out and about running errands I vape a lot in my car. It's great to be able to run into a store, and not have to stub out a freshly lit cigarette! When I get back in, there is my ego, all ready and waiting.

I'm spending a lot of time on this forum, so it's hit the ego, put it down and type, pick it up, etc. I'm really not worried about vaping too much, as I never worried about smoking too much, just lit them up any time I could. I know this is so much better for me than smoking and I'm glad of that.

I've only been doing this for 3 weeks, so I am still like the proverbial kid in a candy store. I have ordered new flavors of juices and just got an itaste vv3, so I am playing like mad. I think I probably am vaping much more often and for longer at a time than when I smoked. I don't worry about it at all. No analogs in my thoughts or hands so I figure even if I vaped 24 hr/day I am still ahead of the game. I might one day soon stop vaping long enough to clean the house though, LOL!

Hello everyone, long time smoker and new to the vaping. I was just curious about how other people vape. Myself, i do it nothing like i use to smoke. For example, when i smoked analogs, i would smoke about every 30 minutes or so and pretty much do that all day. With vaping i might take a draw every 5 minutes sometimes or other times i might sit there and vape for 10 minutes or so. So how do you all Vape? In sessions, or just a puff whenever? Might sound weird but didn't know if i was the only one all over the place.

Vape freely, wether you get that sudden urge most of us are used to when the craving for a cigarette hits or when you feel glad that you have switched to a better health alternative, have a vape. :vapor:

I started with these and V2s too; I use the 2.4% greensmoke too, but they are crazy expensive, and you won't be able to find any refillable cartomizers to fit the GS battery. I happen to be just over the water from you in L-O-S; I'd suggest taking a trip to a B&M (bricks and mortar i.e. a real shop) to buy something cheaper and with a universal fitting. If there's nothing on 'Six Finger Island' there is one in Portsmouth and a few in Southampton. I've been to this one in Portsmouth Vaper Trails Electronic Cigarette Specialist Store Finder it's about half way down the list. You can sample e-liquids there, but you will prob' find cheaper kits elsewhere.

You asked about cutting down: If you had some different nic' percentages you could mix your own strengths to reduce real slow. Or you could have a strong one for the mornings, and weaker for the evenings.

Like me you may want a pocket sized solution (the size of your GS) If this is the case you'll be needing some kr808d-1 batteries (and another USB charger thingy) so you can then buy refillable little cartomizers for them; it's going to be soo much cheaper than GS. You could hunt for them on the net, the shop I pointed you at may sell them, or the V2 e-cig use that standard. As soon as my cache of GS cartos are used up I'm going to have to make the change to kr808d-1 batts, as I want a pocket sized solution that I can use my own flavour mixes in and refill. The better, and bigger, e-cig solutions I'll keep for home use only.

I hope that helps a bit; it's more than you asked, but once you start giving advice it's kinda hard to stop!

Hi. I too am new to this and have wondered the same thing I actually love this more than ciggs. It's always there to have a puff whenever.
I feel as if I do it more than smoking but it's confusing because it's so different! All I can say is four weeks now and I still have just under a quarter of bottle of e liguid left from a 30ml bottle! That works out at $5 a week. My tobacco, papers and filters used to cost me nearer $50 a week. And no cough, no smell etc etc.

I work 8 hour shifts in a healthcare facility so when I'm at work I go outside like 3 times to smoking area just to get away BUT I also go the bathroom down the hall from our unit at least 3 times to Vape in between those get away times.
Now when I am at home surfing the Internet I Vape non stop. Like really nonstop. Especially after I get home at like 1230 am. I've learned to take my contacts out cuz my eyes dry out which then makes my contacts dry out! When I smoked I would go a couple hours between cigs since that involved going out on my balcony but with vaping...whole different scenario since I don't even have to get off the couch except to refill my water glass to try and avoid vaping related dehydration.
