How do you sample new juices? I have recentley purchased a bunch of 3ml samples. I have 8 now and 10 more on the way.

I have a KGO and I'm using the atomizer with cartridges that came with it. Nothing tastses good with the atomizer. I filled a dual coil cartomizer with menthol and Its awesome. But it sucks on the atomizer. Right now I'm thinking I should probably just buy a bunch of cartomizers and use them for sampling. What do you think?

Are you dripping directly on the atomizer or are filling and using/resuing cartridges ?

I try and start with a clean atomizer and then drip 3 drops of what I expect to be the most mild juice and then vape it till the taste starts to change. If it's a compatable flavor, I'll just add 3 more drops on top and keep going. It will normally take a 2nd 3 drop round to get the unadulterated flavor from the 2nd juice. If the juices are too far different, I'll use another clean atty or just dip the other in vodka, blow it out and go from there. I don't mess with cartridges.

I take a short CE2 clearomizer and pull of the clear tube. ( so I can work on it )
I then pull the "bow" of the wick tight until the resulting small loop fits in the
ceramic cup. Then I snip off the excess wick so that what I have left is a
small loop of wick around the coil. I put the tube back on and drip directly
on the coil to test flavors.

To clean between flavors, just pull off tube, rinse coil under hot tap water,
and a quick dry burn to dry out the coil, put tube back on and ready for
next flavor.

Basically turns a CE2 into a bridgeless atty.

Some flavors are a little muted compared to what they taste like in a carto,
but it gives me a very good idea of what they taste like with out committing
a carto.

Unfortunately, I am a mutant. I can taste metal, even stainless steel.
I can not use an atty or even a metallic drip tip ( which really torques me off,
because I love the look of a SS whistle tip ), with out getting a metallic "tang"
to all my juices.

What's even weirder is, I started off with the BLU, and it tasted fine.
When I moved up to the EGO, it didn't work for me. I tried 4 or 5 other
"brands" of atties and they all had a metallic harshness to them.

I'm not saying mine is the best way, but its what I do...
I have three tanks - 2 mini subs and a liquinator. One if the subs has a LR carto in it, the other (and the liquinator) a 3.0 ohm carto. All Boges. I use a Provari and an ego (with the LR) alternately.
To test a new juice, I start with a fresh carto and fill the tanks with the new juices and then I vape them until they are empty. If I realized I hated a new juice, after a day I would just use a syringe to empty the juice from the tank, return it to the bottle and set up the tank with a fresh carto.
What I've found though, is I usually don't like a new juice at first. After most of a day though, they tend to grow on me and I wind up liking them well enough.
Copper Creeks "House blend" was like that. Didn't care for it at first, but now its one of my all-day juices of choice. Same with AV's Gorilla juice and KBV's "Humingbird nectar".
Right now I'm warming up to KBV's OMG and having a harder time with their "Peppermint Ice cream" and Virginvapors "Kona coffee milkshake", but it's entirely possible that by tomorrow, I will start really liking them.

I don't know about that just based on costs alone ..... but I have to agree with your experience in that I find better flavor from cartos, not from direct dripping on an atty ... and I started vaping as a dripper.

Still want to try an 901 atomizer because I hear these atties produce very good flavor, and there is only one way for me to find out!

Well it sounds like most of you know where I'm coming from. I'm going to stock up on some cartos for testing. I will have to try the 306 and a 901 atty as well.

The flavors are growing on me. Even with this atty.

Any suggestions on cartomizers? They'll just be throw aways. need to last for 3 mils of juice.
