So I got my box of liquids from mount baker vapor and my new lava tube with 7ml tank. What is the best way to figure out what to put in my tank? I've tried dripping each flavor but the flavors have started to blend together. Trying to avoid cleaning after each flavor test. Any suggestions? I apologize if this has already been covered in a faq somewhere.

Logic would dictate that a juice carrying device of a smaller capacity would work best, as you don't need much juice to decide whether you will like it or not. A ce2/ce3 device such as the Phoenix or Fluxomizer would work nicely. Typically have a 1ml capacity. These can be easily cleaned and reused, so they are pratical and inexpensive, too.

I use a bridgeless atomizer to test my DIY juices. I have gone as much as taesting 7 flavors in one sitting. Taste the flavor, rinse under warm water, blow out, dry burn and test new flavor. It takes all but 3 mins. If it is a stubborn flavor, a few drops of PG and good to go. Fairly painless. First day of making my own juices I used a mini nova to test....... Cleaning wicks, tube and parts everytime I wanted to taste a juice didn't cut it.

If your getting vapor and flavor (without leaking) you're doing it right. Attys have SS mesh wrapped around the ceramic coil cup that will hold onto some juice. Basically there's three choices 1) vape through it - eventually the previous flavor will subside in favor of the new flavor 2) vape a no flavor/no nic like 100%VG to cleanse the atty 3) clean the atty in between flavors. I use either option 1 or 2 and only clean my attys (in PGA) when performance starts dropping off.

I've been mixing my own flavors, and initially had a standard 510-type atty for testing flavors. Yes, you do need to clean between flavors, and I then used flavorless (0-nic) liquid after cleaning to be sure all of the old flavor is gone. Some flavors seem to hang around even after several cleanings. I have one that I gave up on cleaning, and only use for menthol liquids, since I can still taste the menthol no matter how well I think I cleaned it.

Next, I tried an inexpensive rebuildable atty (Phoenix Rebuildable Atomizer - Clone) Found this one easy to open up and rinse out nearly all of the old flavor. I like being able to see the coil/wick.

When I tried my first 'genesis-type' atty, with Stainless Steel Mesh, I took some of that mesh and made a vertical wick for my Phoenix clone. This combo is my current 'juice-testing' setup. Super easy to clean between flavors--just rinse under hot water and set wick/coil end down on absorbent paper-towel/napkin until dry. Most times, I'll vape one flavor until wick starts to taste dry, then top up with flavorless (all my DIY testing is 0-nic) and repeat with that until I cannot taste the first flavor any longer, or decide to rinse it out instead. When working on my DIY recipes, I'll taste 6 drops, then another 5-20 drops of flavorless, and repeat this for up to 10-15 times in an evening, or until my taste buds get overloaded (usually only get through 4 or 5 flavors).
