How does the o-ring go on the protege switch?

This is exactly what I bought at my local Home Depot store. They also sell them online.

DANCO # 60 O-Ring 10/Pack - 96744 at The Home Depot

bought those.

they work great.

they seemed really hard to get on switch, (if not impossible)

but I put the o-ring on the end of a pen, took the end of the pen off and slid it off the edge of the pen cap onto my switch.
Without doing it that way, I don't think I would have got the o-ring on the switch.

mech switch is working better than ever. =)

Thanks for the tip, I will try these..

My wife is having trouble with her switch, when I looked at the "O" ring it looks more like a "Triangle" ring.

Thing looks like it got run over by a Peterbuilt.

Guess I must have got the runt of the litter.

they are $2 for 10 o-rings in the plumming section of home depot.

these o-rings seem pretty tuff as I think it will be hard to even wear out 1 of them.
