Decently. They're made out of brass, so the threading that connects the top cap with the base can get screwed up after a while and cause the airhole to no longer align with where the coil is placed. Fortunately, they're relatively cheap and you can just buy another top cap for $10-12 and drill out an airhole.

Also, you can place an o-ring over the threads on the base which will allow you to align the top cap with the coil.

That's really the only complaint I've had. The posts on all four of my RM2s have not come loose despite the 24g abuse I've put them through. Which is more than I can say for my Cyclone.

Side note: if anyone has a solution to the loose post on my cyclone, please send it my way.

If it's the center positive post, you might need to replace the insulator. In my case, it was just because the post wasn't pushed all the way in. I placed a flat piece of metal on the 510 contact and lightly tapped it with a hammer until it was almost flush with the rest of the 510.

It's the negative post on mine. I think I'll try to push it down with pliers when I get home tonight. Hopefully that'll do the trick.

I've never heard or experienced one bad thing about the RM2. I have several and have used them all day every day since they first came out.

Same here. I have a favorite brass one that I've used daily for almost a year now. It works just like the day I first built a coil for it. I've dropped it on the tiled floor a couple times while coil building, fortunately it only dinged the bottom edge of the milled brass portion, no damage to the ceramic. The posts are still nice and snug, hole still lines up at the same spot consistently. I do try to be extra careful when initially screwing on the cap so I don't cross thread it.

These days I'm using a cyclone on another reo so I can run two flavors without taking time to change bottles, etc. The cyclone is a great little rba but I love the rm2 also. The rm2 doesn't seem to get as hot as the cyclone while chain vaping.
