Hey guys,

There are plenty of videos on youtube of how to rebuild the kayfun v3.1, but I am having a hard time finding videos that explain how the Kayfun v3.1 work. Can anyone give me a brief explanation of how the juice gets from the tank to the wicks?
I am asking because I am thinking of getting a Kayfun v3.1 clone, but would like to know how it works first. Thanks in advanced!

Vacuum. There are two chambers. The main one you see for holding the fluid, and the second one, inside of that that houses the wick and coil. The chamber with the juice is air tight, and the grooves you see in the bottom of the inner chamber/deck area create a bit of a channel from the juice tank to the atomizing chamber. When you draw on it, you create a vacuum that draws the fluid into the atomizer chamber, and the heat lowers the viscosity and aids in a capillary action feeding the coil.

I am about to get the Russian 91%. After a lot of research, I think the pros/cons of each weigh in favor of the Russian over the Kayfun for me. However, I want an original.. just better machining overall, and the specs are from the designer, not from measuring one. Any adjustments in the manufacturing process are better remedied by the designer than the imitator.

The differences I prefer don't matter as much in the clones, so don't worry about it.

Pressure equalization. Remember the experiments in high school where they used different size capillary tubes to demonstrate how fluid would rise to different levels according to their diameter. That's what happens inside a Kayfun. With juice in the tank it has no where to go except through the juice channels and up into the juice deck of the atomization chamber....

Never mind, it's Magic.

Wow guys I didn't expect so many replies so fast. That makes perfect sense now thinking about it. I just never understood the purpose of separating the wicks from the juice with two separate chambers. Pressure, of course.

These are amazing answer. If I had made an account when I first started vaping life would have been so much easier.
