First I want to say I have no clue how to make your own juices and what kind of chemical knowledge you need.

I was wondering why it is not possible to produce a juice that indeed taste and smells like a real cig? I mean with the technological know-how that some vendors have and the right equipment shouldn;t it be possible to produce a juice that has a 99% same taste, smell like a real cig? I found freaking crab and bacon juices that probably taste and smell like you just ate bacon.

I suspect it is difficult to recreate the exact taste and smell of smoke, which has thousands of chemicals, while only using 1% or fewer as many chemicals. Plus, there's the fact that smoke is SMOKE, while vapor is not ... they won't FEEL exactly the same (thank goodness, IMO), so it's kinda like an artificial strawberry vs. a real one. The real one has much more complexity to it, and so does real smoke.

On the personal side ... I can't imagine why anyone would want something coming out of a PV that tastes and smells exactly like cigarette smoke. But, that's irrelevant, I know.

I do enjoy EcoPure Rich juice. Although it is too pricey to be part of my regular vape. And, in my opinion tastes much better than tobacco smoke, although it's supposed to be a tobacco flavor.

Major obstacle is what to use for the combustion part of the equation. Hard to replicate that part of it and not taste awful. BTW who really wants that smell? I for one am glad I don't have that part of it anymore. Taste is still subjective but you can find something close, it might take awhile but something out there will come close enough for your taste. I'm over that part of it now an enjoy the flavors more than I ever did smoking so with time you might change your mind about even wanting the similar experience.

Thanks for the input so far. For some of you of course you don't want the taste and smell of a real cig but for me after 3 weeks being strong without a cig I still crave this burning taste and smell of a real cig so for now that is somewhat important for me. The more advanced users like most of you have kicked the cig habit and went on to other flavors. I have everything here from strawberry, coconut, melon, kiwi, tobacco juices and still have not found one that really is a all day vape or anything longer then 30mins.

After 16 months vaping, I'd still love to find a juice that tasted like my analogs did.

After 16 months vaping, I've come to the conclusion that isn't going to happen.

After 4 months vaping, I was sick of trying to find one and settled on a "cig like" flavor I could live with. At 6v it tatses pretty close to marb light IMO, and I live with it even though I smoked and loved Bugler tobacco. The Flavor is TW's m/borough flavoring. I haven't tried their pre-made juice if they even offer it.

I was just like you in a month I bought over 50 juices. when I left the house I carried 5 or 6 different flavors with me. Try buying a juice in your favorite minty flavor, the one you get when you buy gum or mints. Its a familiar flavor, so its hard to hate. :) You can also try finding you favorite drink flavor Coffee, Mt dew or Cola. Or add a drop or two of menthol flavored juice to the ones you already have. It creates a fullness or heaviness in the vapor that you feel in your lungs: it feels more like smoke does. I was never a menthol smoker but adding a little menthol really helped me. Just to let you know for the last 5 years I smoked, I smoked black and mild wood tip, that I inhaled. I loved the heaviness of the unfiltered smoke, the taste and large amounts of nicotine. I know I will never find that flavor in a juice. After my hunt I have finally settled down with Vaporrenu Cola 2x flavor 36mg with a little menthol and have been vaping happily for about 2.5 weeks. If you don't mind what nic mg are you using?

so far I am using 24mg but for some reason I find myself vaping 24/7. Maybe I have to go up to 36mg? I am about to buy a bloog in the shape of a real cig maybe that helps too. Love my GoGo a lot and the other pv's but I think with a analog shaped e-cig I get some more sensation. We will see how that goes after another $100 spend lol.

I hear that a lot sadly I have this weird thing with menthol. Every time I smoke anything with menthol I get super hungry lol. Issue is I fell in love with watermelon frost from vaporjunction and now I always have a lil snack on me while using the juice. Maybe just in my head but no joke 10 puffs and I could eat a whole pig.

YIPEE!!! Home at last
For a non menthol vape that curbs my tobacco crave GotVapes has a new Americano Tobacco or maybe Tobacco Americano either way it curbed my craving when it was in their disposable and the claim right now is it tastes the same.... ordering some tomorrow I can let you know for sure when it gets here if you want. Anyway that is what helped me.

To me (and this is just my opinion, of course), the reason smokers love the taste of tobacco is because of the nicotine. We're conditioned to like, want, crave that flavor, simply because of the nicotine delivery that happens at the same time we taste it. Honestly, when you get right down to it, tobacco tastes terrible. Those I've talked to that still crave "tobacco" flavored juice are all ones who never made the 100% switch to vaping with non-tobacco flavors; they never made that mental break between the nic rush and "that flavor", you know? I'm not being judgemental or anything, just making an observation.

In my own experience, I had some 'baccy flavors that I liked, and some fruity / other flavors too... I noticed a few months in that I hadn't used the tobacco flavors in about a month and a half (I wasn't making an effort, it just kind of worked out that way). Trying them then... well, they tasted like something I dragged out of the cat box, no offense. This might not be true for everyone, but I think that once you break that subconscious connection between "tobacco flavor" and "nicotine", your craving for that flavor will be gone. I know mine is.

Not sure what ya'll mean by the taste of "combustion" but I know smoke taste is possible!!! I have a bottle of sstuff that tastes like a campfire smells!! I mean, I feel like I need to wash my clothes and hair after vaping it! Personally I think itis absolutely disgusting! So OP, don't give up hope. It is possible to make ejuice taste like smoke, now cigarettes are a little more tricky because their are so many flavors/brands out there.

Anyone who's ever smoked for the first time had to force themselves to smoke to the point where their tastebuds deafened and their sense of smell went away.

This observation kicked me in the teeth when I briefly returned to smoking after vaping 2 years. It was a vivid demonstration of what nonsmokers know and what smokers forget...

- Cigarettes taste like crap.
- Cigarette smoke stinks.

I've said it before and I'll repeat it here today...I doubt very seriously that anyone would create such an atrocious concoction. And if they DID I wouldn't want to vape it.

"Ashtray Flavored E-juice".

Yum.

I thought his point was that tobacco flavor is a good thing to get beyond.
That once you do get past it you realize it really isn't that great.

But, that's something you have to realize yourself ... no matter how many people tell you (or me), it just can't be true, until it hits you one day.
And, honestly, there are some long term vapers who still enjoy tobacco flavor. As I said in my first response, I still enjoy EcoPure Rich ... but, I don't know that it's a faithful tobacco flavor. It's just good.

On the other hand, I haven't tried in in quite some time ... hmmm, if I tried it today, would I still like it? Dunno.
