Good afternoon ladies and gents, just wanted to to see how far some of my fellow vape enthusiasts have come since starting the vapelyfe, I know we're not all brand new to vape just new to the forums, personally for me I've been vaping just about 3 years now. I started from the bottom, good ol made in china cigalike found at mall kiosks around the country, then progressed to a ego type mod from volcano, to the evic which I enjoyed for awhile then to a provari, currently vaping on an akuma mod with a stillare atty.

I lucked out and skipped the cigalikes by starting with a variable volt, passthrough, ego style starter kit. Still, I was searching for an upgrade in less then a week because I caught the shinyitis bug that's been going around this forum. Went from the ego to the iTaste VVv3, then the MVP 2, and now the Provari Mini. I'm a little curious about mech mods now, but first I'm getting the hang of building coils with a Nimbus clone, a Kracken clone and a couple of Kayfun clones. Oh, and I was gifted a genuine Vortex RDA recently, but the threads are kind of mess up. It won't screw into my Provari, but works in the MVP for some reason...

I guess you could say I started with a cigalike but that was more for a laugh about 5 years back.

Like many more recent converts I started with an Ego (twist) and a couple protank mini 2s. I used almost exclusively tobacco flavors.

Didnt take long for me to get frustrated with protanks. So only 2 or 3 weeks later I took the plunge and ended up with a couple mechs and dripping attys.
About 2 or 3 weeks after that I added a couple Kayfuns to the arsenal.

Shortly after that I pretty much phased out tobacco flavors and now I use almost exclusively fruit flavors.

Mechs and drippers are still my fav.
Not gonna lie, every now and then I toss a KF nano on an ego battery if I am making short trips around town because it is small and convenient.

I have a Dna30 box mod clone on order and am probably going to build my own soon but I don't think anything will ever win over my heart like a mech due to the simplicity and sheer ruggedness

I began my vaping journey two years ago with a well-respected and popular e-cigalike setup, but after only 3 weeks I was unsatisfied with the poor battery life and the limited selection of juice attachments. I skipped right over the intermediate eGo battery setups and went directly to a mechanical mod topped with a cartotank.

A visit to a vape shop allowed me to experience variable voltage for the first time. The owner put a Kick drop-in module into my Silver Bullet, and I was amazed with the difference it made my juices taste. I went on a serious research quest for variable voltage mods.

I chose to get a Provari, which was regarded to be the best variable voltage mod on the market. I was not disappointed. I ended up having a total of three Provari's. Yes, to me they are well worth the money. I've accumulated a dozen mods over two years time (including mechanical and VV/VW mods), and continue to use my Provari's 90% of the time.

I was gifted a Kayfun Lite Plus rebuildable tank atomizer about two months ago. This has become my primary juice attachment for its great flavor production, ease of setup, and consistancy.

Not a fan of dripping or cloud chasing, I prefer the convenience of a tank.

So long story short, my favorite setup is a KFL+ with a Provari.

Juice-wise, I seem to be gravitating to vendors who use all-natural, all-organic flavorings. I still use a 50/50 pg/vg ratio. I have begun experimenting with some DIY e-liquids.

Started with cigalikes, actually stopped smoking with a basic eGo; went through twists and spinners, iTaste vv3s, a couple of mechs. Clearos of various kinds, to cartomizers. Have settled happily on ProVari's with cartomizers, and still like the iTaste vv3's with cartotanks, and also use things like the Aspire Nautilus, Protank 2, etc. on the iTastes.

Still find that my flavor tastes are changing, as recently as in the last week or two. Suddenly I seem to like less the fruity stuff and am more into caramels & butterscotches.

Who knows where it will all lead - it's been an enjoyable adventure so far!!

Haha. Million dollar question. About 2 mos in I started liking fruity flavors. Believe it or not, I actually hated the tobaccos at first but with a little creative mixing and taste change combined, I began to appreciate them. Very useful. Thing is, my taste for juice, food, and drinks seems to be ever evolving. Its like a completely new annunciation into the world of taste and flavors. Kinda cool actually. To the point it was almost worth smoking all those years just so I could start over with taste appreciation. I get something new non smokers will never know since they just grew up with it and sort of always had it.

I started with a cigalike, which I hated so much that I went back to analogs for about a year and a half. Finally a friend turned me on to eGo batteries and tanks and whatnot. I now use a visiontech variable batter and a kanger aerotank most of the time, but I'm not really that picky--one day I'll switch to some ridiculous expensive get up but for now, this is easy, fits in my pocket and I can control how much vapor I'm getting. My thinking is that the juice has a lot more to do with the experience than anything else.
