How have you modified your mod or tank?

Had an old Vision spinner 2 mini kicking about that I used at work. It was a bit dented and scratched so I took a bit of 1200 wet and dry paper to it and it came up quite nice, It was originally black.

I stripped all the black paint off my subtank minis. Didn't like the idea of having dried paint in my juice. I buy cheap clone rda's and rta's so alot of times I have to take a small nail file to the positive pin, where they mill put the flat head groove. There's often a burr on each side that might reduce conductivity. I hate sharp threads so I lightly sand my 510 threads on cheap attys.
I did a forced patina on a brass Chi you mech mod a long time ago.
Put a clear coat on it and then never used it.
Also heat treated a few beauty rings and locking rings to a pretty blue/purple color.
Pretty easy to do. Just took a little patience.

I don't do much, but one step has become essential.
I have arthritis, and also have dry skin. I can't hold onto anything without dropping it, and it seems as though everything has to be small nowadays. I've ruined 3 mods so far by dropping them.
So, I buy some tactical grip strips ("tactical" because they're designed to be put on pistol grips) from Amazon. I put them on my mods, my cell phone, tablets, anything small that I might drop. It makes more difference than you'd think. I keep a supply of those grip strips handy in case I buy something that would benefit from it.

I like this little set up its a copper Le Petit Gros mod and a big Buddha mini tank
The only trouble is the 2mm gap all the way round the top of the mod where the tank sits in it
So using a piece of 22 mm copper pipe I made a couple of matchy rings one short one and one tall one.
They are held in place with an O a ring on the inside
And as you can see fill the gap nicely giving it a bit of more of a flush look
And the tall one completely covers the tank protecting the glass
I think the end result looks great. I used 600 grit paper to brush the copper tube then used tomato ketchup up to clean the copper (it works great really brings up the copper nicely) followed by hot soapy water and then alcohol wipes to degrees. And then both of them were clearcoated with automotive clearcoat

because of nerve damage and a palsy in my left hand i get the dropsies a lot... the painting of my mods helps with the grip and the otterbox with it's texture is a lifesaver for my phone. i love the suggestion!

It's blinding in the dark though.... it definitely takes some creative placement in the box.
Yes. Not much room. Used a resistor too. Great idea on your part. I'll probably order some stable green LEDs. Radioshack ones were not a good green. Also just machined some more silver discs for the positive contact tonight. They're threaded now! Which will allow for much more positive pin to connect the bottle.
