I am wondering how hot the atty works at to vaporize the vg / pg?

based on a standard batt, mods, high voltage atty?...

I have several atomizers that you can hear poping and sizzling but does not show a glow or red color. They still work. Does this mean they are not working as good.

No, they're working fine, in fact it's bad for most(all) atomizers to glow red hot, it shortens the life of the atomizer coil which is around the width of a hair.
