hey guys. ive been vaping for awhile and found a great method of cleaning my atomizers. i recently got an ego and have not tried cleaning it with this method yet but i am sure it would work just the same. for this you will need a empty soda bottle, any size will work as long as it is plastic. remove the cap then pull the plastic film from inside the cap. next you will drill a hole in the cap that the atomizer can screw into. i screw the 510 attys into the inside. i then fill the bottle with hot water and screw the cap onto the bottle with the atomizer inside the bottle. then hold the bottle over a sink and gently squeeze the bottle to squirt the water out through the atomizer. i have had incredible luck doing this with my 510 attys this far, and i think it will work with the ego attys aswell as other types of attys too. i have not tried using soda or anything as a cleaning solution but i it could probably be used aswell. hope some of you find this info useful.

or not for general cleaning but just removing flavors there is a product out now Vape the Rockies has 2 products an atty flavor earser that even doctor vapenstien swears by.(supposed to be really good at getting coffee or menthol out of attys) and a product called purge atty cleaner thats used for general cleaning. just thought you guys should know theres stuff out there now to help take care of the weakest part of any ecig.

yes when the bottle is filled and you are screwing the cap back on the atty hangs down inside the bottle. then when it is screwed on flip it over and squeeze it into a sink. it has always worked great for me. make sure when drilling the hole that the hole isnt too big. you want the atty to screw firmly into the cap so that there isnt any water leaking around the threads. if a little does leak it should be fine, but you want the majority of the water going through the atty.

I have used a very similar method to this by using a nalgene bottle, with a coozy (thermal blanket, but you can just wrap it in a towel or use an ove-glove) on it. If you have a Keurig or Nespresso machine that hot water works great. Put some ALMOST boiling water into the bottle and use the same method. Gets the gunk and funk off my atty's and is great on new atty's that have that sugary sweet taste to them.
