Of course, you are preaching to the converted here. People who don't like ECF aren't here to answer the poll.
That said, ECF made my experience much, much better. I saw a picture of Leonardo DiCaprio with a SmokeStik. I spent several hours at their website and when I went back to make a purchase, everything had changed. That made me suspicious* so I started looking further and found ECF.
Obviously a lot of people have quit using SmokeStik, but it would have been the wrong PV for me. They offer two flavors -- tobacco and menthol. The flavor of tobacco is NOT why I smoked. I've had about 2 puffs of tobacco since I made the switch. Bletch. I think I would have stuck with it because it wouldn't have tasted worse than a cigarette, but finding ECF allowed me to find a starter model and flavors that were right for me.
I never recommend unless someone shows an interest (I remember how I would have reacted if someone tried to interfere when I was smoking.) When I do tell people about ECF, I point out that vaping isn't for everyone. I think the people it works best for are those for whom the nicotine is important but the activity — what to do with your hands, satisfying your oral fixation, etc. — are as important. Vaping is the only nicotine delivery system I know of (other than smoking) that deals with both aspects of the habit.
*Something to do with the U.S. division moving to a new warehouse and the Canadian division shipping for them in the interim. (I didn't know enough at the time to ask how the Canadian site could offer nicotine.)
