Mind you, of all of the GLV's I have, this one is my favorite!!
On Dec. 26, I was in Indianapolis in the middle of a full blizzard that dropped 16" of snow. Being from B'ham, AL, I am not snow savvy. I bundled up with money in my pocket & my GLV in my heavy coat pocket to go down the street to get some milk & bread for breakfast and the ever essential CokeZero. Coming out of the store I fell over a stoop in the parking lot. I picked my hurt feelings up & headed back. When I took my coat off, I checked the pocket & no GLV. I had another GLV with me on my trip & my husband had one, but I am emotionally attached to this one.
And so I bundled back up and went back to the store. I could see where I had fallen, but no sign of it. It was still blizzard conditions. I moved the snow around with my hands & then started moving it with my boots. All of a sudden, I spotted a bit of silver and went back in with my hands.
And there it was. I was so proud & happy!
