Just cleaned my Vision V2 for the first time, following the steps of several tutorial videos, dry burned for x2 10 second intervals then refilled with my liquid just to not get any vape

I assume its the water getting sucked out of the long wick first, but im not really getting any vapor and it feels as if my whole PV is getting warmer than normal.

Perhaps i should've let the pieces dry before refilling again, but several vids i saw showed they started vaping fine again after 4-5 initial puffs right after cleaning. I've done about 12 puffs and still no real vape. I do hear a lot of crackling and pops though

I just take a paper towel and gently squeeze out the wicks. Then I drop a few drops onto the head, replace the plastic thingy, fill it up and swirl it around to make sure the wicks are good and wet, and then... vape.

This.

I cleaned my Vivi Nova clearo the other day and ran warm water through it to clean it up and then pat dried all the parts a really gave the wicks a gentle but thorough patting to wick up as much water as I could and placed a few drops on the coils themselves before screwing all together. Left the lid off and dry burned a few times so the coils were glowing red and let it cool down. Refilled liquid and the first few draws where not the best but it quickly wicked up to full vape in 5 mins after..

I'm jealous of all of you clearomizer users. I've gone through three, and I'm not even a "heavy" vaper, heavy being a relative term. I never dropped them, cracked them, or did anything... they just crapped out on me. I've since washed my hands of clearomizers. Cartos irritate me, too. I only know it's full when it's too late and it's dripping juice everywhere. Not fun.

I've settled with 510 lr atomizers for dripping, but I long for my original days of "fill and forget", even though that lasted about three weeks. I've ordered some back up attys but I accidentally got standard resistance instead of low resistance. So now I have to wait another 5-6 days for the appropriate atty. Gah.

RE: clearomizers. Are you using the new ones that you just merely screw on a new head? Those things are redeemable in any case.

RE: Cartos: are you using the condom method to fill? You must blow them out. You only fill until they look "slushy" at the top.

You might want to try the vivi also. The new rebuildable (by screwing a new head on) are very inexpensive now. You might want to give them a try again.

Re: clearos. I don't know what they're called these days. Stardust, eGo-T tanks, whatever. They have the mL indicators on the side, the atty inside (you can't get to it), and the three wicks on each side, as well. Yes, you just screw them on. All have failed me miserably. During the first month of the Vape Invasion at work, everyone had eGo-T kits with clearomizers. They all worked beautifully... for a while. Now everyone's (my coworkers) clearomizers are crapping out on them, too. It's sad watching them suck the crap out of their PV and releasing barely a zephyr of vapor.

Carto's.... I still don't dig 'em. Wicking issues, filling issues, leaking issues... I've heard a lot of people talk about the ViVi Nova, but I've heard just as many horror stories, too.

So far, I've tried clearos, cartos, and attys. Only the atty works the way I want it to, and it scares me to death to think of the day when my atty pops, especially because the replacements I bought were wrong (standard instead of lr). If this atty pops on me I'm screwed.
