How long after receiving The Chuck can I.......

Hi Everyone,

I ordered a Chuck for my girlfriend Ashleigh for our 2 year anniversary 3 Weeks ago, expecting anytime now. I llove this forum, received great advice on maintenance, 1 question though, how long after receiving her Chuck before she can wax it?

The less you apply cleaners and waxes to a finish, the better it may hold up. Use it, enjoy it. I wipe my down with a barely damp paper towel if they get grubby but that is about it. I have one due to constant dropping on concrete etc and loads of abuse that needs to be redone but otherwise they hold up well with little maintenance.

I'd feel better if we waxed it, I know that's what Jeff recommends, which is why I asked, I know it's a bad idea to wax something that has just been painted, I was just wondering how long should we wait. I received a gold mind of great information on this forum on how to take care of the Chuck! Thanks again!
