Hi Everyone,
When I get my Chuck I'm pretty much going to vape the hell out of it & Wipe it down with a Diaper All day lol. I intend to use PlastX like Jeff recommends. But what do you clean the Body with that won't ruin the Paint Job, but get any e-liquid or grime off the Chuck? Is Windex Mild enough? I understand I don't have to Wax it every week like a Car it's not kicking up dirt & debris all over the streets, but I tend to baby things I highly Value, so I'm going to do it at least once a month unless I feel it needs it sooner. it would be nice to have some kind of Soap/Solvent to get germs off of it and Keep it clean & Shiny!
I know the Chuck is a Beast and has very Low maintenance requirements, but Every Month I'm going to Clean her out with Contact Cleaner, & clean out the Battery Cap Threads & Reapply Noalox (I know it doesn't need it, but couldn't hurt). Clean the outside & apply PlastX.
I seen a Video where someone was doing maintenance on a Megalodon, and he used Gold Cleaner that you get @ Walmart that comes with a little brush to scrub off all the threads, then Wipes them clean, before applying (what he used instead of Noalox) Gun Oil. Can this be safely used on the Chuck Threads or am I better off just using contact cleaner and an old Toothbrush?
I'd really appreciate any info anyone can give me, Ashleigh get's her Chuck Tomorrow in New Orleans, and I'd love to past this on to her as she's as .... as I am about these things!
Thanks learned a lot of this Forum!
Happy Chucking!!
