About a year ago I got this great idea that I would quit analogs and vape instead. Well - it didn't work. I was overzealous and bought a bunch of liquids and never used them. They are about a year old and been stored inside a cabinet. Would they still be ok? I might want to sell or trade them because my whole 'criteria' has changed for vaping and I don't want to give anyone bad juice!

yeah, best to toss these out. And just to ensure that the liquids remain fresh, we HIGHLY suggest that noone keep liquids around that they don't intend to use or sell/trade in the next few months just to be absolutely sure you're vaping the best liquid possible.
Well, wanted to check back in.... Since these were the only liquids I had I went ahead and used a couple of them. They are doing ok....really good vape - not too sure about taste

I just started into a bottle of TV strawberry cheesecake from 14 months ago... If you don't hear back from me, you'll know why....
Had some Atomic Fireball (so it was called back then) from Dec. '09. We weren't big fans of it, but kept it for a rainy day, plus I hate throwing anything out. After reading this thread I figured it was time to dump some old juice. While dumping the fireball down sink with running hot water, the juice turned into a beige milky fluid.
This is just to say, heed Geoff's warning, it may or may not harm you, but I'm sure it wasn't helping prolong my carto's life span.

Geoff has said before that the shelf life problem is largely due to the fact that nicotine degrades over time. He thinks the doublers will last longer (but I don't think he established a definite timeframe.)
I have been saying fresh has always been better for so long now and finally I see someone and it be a juice vendor (TV=Geoff) that says the same thing and I totally agree with this. So many other vendors say 1yr and I even have seen some vendors that go 2yrs on there liquids (V4L), BLAAAA whoever would vape something 2 yrs old is crazy, it's nice to finally see a vendor that says this about his juice. These other vendors that act like steeping a bottle of juice for 2-3 months is going to turn it to Gold are out of there minds. Again I only like my liquids fresh and this is a great thread to see here and especially coming from a top juice Mixmaster himself.

Your mitochondria are parasitic bacteria that eventually learned how to co-exist. "Bacteria" are not a threat. Until someone comes out with lab results and culture data, I'm not buying that for a second.
BTW, I've got strep throat from my kid's pre-school and am taking antibiotics. A couple hours later, I load up on bacteria. I swallow millions of bacteria. Yum yum. There are bad bacteria like botulinum and streptococcus, and then there are countless other species that are harmless. They enable plants to fix nitrogen and are at the very bottom, and very top of the food chain. ay dee jay OUT

I believe the bacteria in question are pathogenic. Tasty Vapor liquid is a food product with no preservatives. The more time it spends exposed to the air, the greater the likelihood that it will become a petri dish in a plastic bottle.

If they haven't been sterilized and packed (and kept) in a vacuum, they do. It was because of the potential that they would pick up bad bacteria. I am currently vaping TV liquids that are well past their suggested expiration date with no ill effects.

For what it's worth, I bought a ton back in the day and they have suffered every abuse a juice could suffer! I thought of taking pics of the bottles to send in! LOL. 7 months in a saddleback on the side of a motorcycle. Above the exhaust when the air temps were already 35+ degrees! they got submerged in water, regularly exposed to lots of sunlight and dirty!
Still taste ok(some not great) and they still give me all the nicotine I want. The colours have changed a bit.

Can juice be put in the freezer to increase life? There is a mega auction going on but there is no way I could use anywhere near 1/2 of that juice in 6months.
