How long before your taste buds bounced back

I actually started noticing increased sense of taste within a few days, and it has continued to get stronger. It seems some days it is stronger than others. I noticed recently that I've been smelling people around me (smokers and people with bad body odors). It seems to really stand out when, for so many years, I haven't noticed those things.

It took me a little over 2 weeks before my taste buds came back--there were about 2 days where I couldn't taste a thing.
