I started with a Joye 510 and was adamant about having an auto battery. I have since gotten a Riva 510 with manual battery and now prefer it over the auto.
Received my kit, Ya took me about 30 seconds to get the hang of it, dont know if its the manual batt or just the much better quality pv but truly consistent hits
Also with the manual, I find myself firing it up as I lift it up to draw off it so it starts vaping a bit before I hit it. Not sure if that helps with the consistency but I noticed that after switching to the Riva 510 from the Joye 510.
Used an auto battery for over 8 months...switched to a manual battery eGo and didn't have a hard time at all. Didn't think I'd like it which was part of what drew me to the other in the first place. Usually have it on the bottom, thumb side. More natural that way for me.
I started with an auto and thought it would give the best experience. Didn't think a manual button would be very satisfying (why? I don't know.), but having made the switch I couldn't go back. Better vapor. Better taste. Once I got used to pressing the button a fraction before drawing, which took maybe 4 or 5 puffs, it's really easy.
