How long do 30 amp batteries take to charge?

I got this battery Sony 18650 - Yosi Vapor Boutique
Yesterday but it takes forever to charge and yes I have a Intellicharger i2. My other 10 amp batteries charge faster than this. Is it normal for 30 amps to long to charge?

The time required is obviously dependent on charge rate and the level of charge the batt. starts at. When I charged my sonys the first time, it took a couple of hours at 1000mA. When I charge them now they charge a little faster even at 500mA because I don't discharge them very far before recharging.

charge my 30amp batteries with my LUC in about 30min, but I charge them when they drop to 3.7-3.8v.

I have lots of batteries, so I charge them slow. Usually .25 or .5A. The lower charge rate is better for the battery than quick charging.

Slow charging is better, but unless you have a few batteries that's how people get hurt lol we need our vape intake

The Sony VTC4 batteries I bought recently, upon arrival, took a LONG time to charge fully, compared to my Efest 30amp or AW IMR 18650. True, they're 2100mah and not 1600mah like the others.. but the Sonys took even longer than some of my uber high MAH batteries I used when I used regulated devices. And this is on a LUC charger, which is a very fast charger normally.

But after a couple charge cycles, that stopped, and now they charge in about the same time as the Efest 30amp and the AW IMR 18650.

Yeah, that first charge took the longest. After that they charge pretty quickly on my xtar charger. I must add they are very good performing batteries, that's probably why they aren't in stock @ most places right now.

what ever it takes - these batteries are worth to wait

PS: sometime I play with 0.25/0.5/1A settings to boost my charging
