Battery Charge Time?

I just got the XTar WPII charger and was wondering how long will it take to charge Sony 18650 VTC4 batteries at the charger set to 0.5 amps??And what about when its set to 1.0 amps? Lastly is it bad change the set from 0.5 amp to 1.0 amp while your batteries are charging?

I never run my batteries below 3.7 volts, so assuming my battery is at 3.7 volts.

You can change the setting on that battery safely. I have an Xtar VP-1 and I do it all the time. 18650s charge pretty quick at 1 amp. Maybe an hour.
