how long do cartomizers/liquid stay good for?

I've been vaping about a year (yay, still smoking but trying hard again). I have e-liquids, various cartomizers, all about a year old, that are unused, cartos still in their packaging. How long do these things stay good for?

I looked at my juices and they all have a 2 year expiration date on them, Bloog also started dating the carts woth a 2 year life span as well.

2 years is the standard applied in the industry from what I have read and been told by juicemasters.

That's correct. Because the nicotine degrades over time. Otherwise, it's still fine and ok to vape. But I don't know if the two years is an exact calculation, or whether it's when most or all will be gone, or what. I'll have to do more research on that when I can spare the time. Busy day today!
